Today was my 15 week sono with my high risk doctor to check the growth of the babies as well as my cervix. Matthew came with me to see his little nephews on the big screen for the first time! The sono tech took measurements of every part of each baby. She measured the head, the heart, the arms and legs, the stomach, the kidneys, the brain, etc. It was incredible to see how much they have grown in the past few weeks - they look so big now! And, apparently, they each weigh 4 oz. each! Right on track! It was adorable to see both babies almost interacting with each other. When the sono tech was looking at Baby B, you could see Baby A pushing his feet or an arm or a leg at the membrane separating them as if he wanted to be in the picture himself! And, Baby B kept sucking his thumb! His thumb was in his mouth when the sono was first on him, then he flipped around a bit, then he stuck his thumb right back into his mouth! We even got a picture of it! Both babies were moving all around and were just adorable. When the doctor came in, she said all of the measurements were perfect and that I had some really cute babies! She said it about three times, so I guess she really meant it! They are quite cute indeed, if I do say so myself!
The doctor also confirmed what we already knew - TWO BOYS!
And here they are in all of their cuteness:
