Today was the day where the embryologists performed the biopsy on each of our little embryos. After the biopsy was complete, each cell that was taken from each little embryo was then overnighted to Michigan to Genesis labs for the testing for my disease to begin. I called today and was told that 10 out of our 11 fertilized eggs moved on to the "cellular" stage. This means that 10 moved on to divide and divide and divide in to a number of different cells. One of them didn't make it.
I just called the office to see how many of our little embryos made it through the PGD Biopsy but i called too late (4:00pm!) and the embryologists had left already! So i will call again tomorrow to see how many are remaining so far.
Could definitely use lots of prayers that our little embryos make it through Saturday and that most of them don't have this disease!
